GEEO is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping educators travel affordably and meaningfully. Since 2008, we’ve partnered with G Adventures, one of the world’s largest and most respected adventure travel companies, to bring exceptional travel experiences to teachers.

In this partnership, GEEO draws from the G Adventures catalog of trip itineraries and their best local tour leaders. Our programs are specifically for educators and are sold at a discounted price compared to G Adventures. We also provide comprehensive support before, during, and after our programs. Our traveler support is lightning fast and available every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time, even on weekends and holidays.

What Makes a GEEO Program Special

The most important difference between a GEEO program and G Adventures tour: Our programs are designed for educators and their guests. You’ll travel alongside teachers who share your interests and values, creating natural camaraderie and meaningful connections. Unlike regular G Adventures trips (which welcome travelers as young as 12), GEEO programs are only for adults (18+)—unless designated as a special GEEO Family Program.
