GEEO offers various promotions that can make it even more affordable to travel with us. Our advice is to book early as we typically offer few, if any, promotions from October onwards. All below discounts are valid only for trips during the 2022 and 2023 calendar years unless otherwise noted. These discounts and promotions do not apply to optional add-ons such as the “My Own Room” fee, pre/post night hotels, airport transfers, insurance, and airfare.
Here are the discounts that GEEO is currently offering. Please read each section below for more details on each promotion, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
At GEEO we like to get people to book as early as possible so they have plenty of time to prepare for their trip and so we know which programs are proving to be the most popular. To encourage you to make an early decision, we offer a 5% early booking discount for all participants who sign up within the first month that a new program is open for registration.
Promotion Details:
– 5% OFF on top of GEEO’s regular already discounted prices during the Early Booking period
– Valid on all of our non-private programs
– Deposits must be received within defined promotional period
– Can be used in conjunction with Multi-Trip Discount (see below)
To show how much we value your loyalty, GEEO offers this promotion exclusively to our “alumni” travelers. For a limited time, we offer an 8% early booking discount exclusively for educators who have traveled with GEEO in the past and who sign up within the first month that a new program is open for registration.
Promotion Details:
– 8% OFF on top of GEEO’s regular already discounted prices during the Early Booking period
– Exclusive to past GEEO travelers
– Valid on all of our non-private programs
– Deposits must be received within defined promotional period
– Can be used in conjunction with Multi-Trip Discount (see below)
– Can be used in conjunction with Educator Referral Program (see below)
The Multi-Trip Discount is available to all participants, regardless of whether they traveled with GEEO before or not. Often flying overseas is the most expensive component of one of our programs. We try to schedule our programs to allow participants to go on two or even three different programs in a row within the same region. This way you get the most bang for your buck when flying overseas. In order to make those programs more affordable for participants who wish to travel more with GEEO, we have created the Multi-Trip Discount. If you book two or more GEEO programs with travel dates between September 1st and August 31st of the following year, you will receive 10% off of the lesser value program** (up to 3 programs). If these bookings were made during a sale period (5% or 8% sales) you will receive the sale period discount on the most expensive of the programs you booked and then 10% off of each additional lesser value program. Those additional lesser value programs would not receive the early booking bonus.
Promotion Details:
– Book two or more GEEO programs with travel dates between September 1st and August 31st of the following year, and you will receive 10% off on the lesser value program (up to 3 programs).
– If you book three programs you will receive the 10% discounts on the 2 least expensive programs.
– $350 deposit required per program. You will lose this discount if you cancel all but one of the programs.
– You may only use one discount per trip. For example, if you book two programs in the early booking period, you will receive the early booking discount on the most expensive of the programs you booked and then 10% off of each additional lesser value program. Those additional lesser value programs would not receive the early booking bonus.
– Non-GEEO G Adventures trips do not qualify for a multi-trip discount.
GEEO’s Educator Referral Program is exclusively available to past GEEO travelers. Our mission is to make travel a standard component of professional development for educators. To achieve this, we encourage our past participants to share their GEEO experiences with colleagues, inspiring them to embark on their own journeys. If you have previously traveled with GEEO and sign up for another program, you can earn a $100 discount on your program fee for referring an active educator to GEEO, provided they book a GEEO program, are new to GEEO (i.e., have never traveled with us before), and travel in the same school year as you. The referred educator should mention your name in the “How did you find out about GEEO?” field of our online registration form. You can earn up to two $100 referral credits per booking. These discounts are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Promotion Details:
– Valid for bookings made within the same school year (September 1 through August 31) as the referred person.
– To qualify, the referred traveler must register for a GEEO program, pay for the trip, and not cancel before the final cancellation deadline.
– The program is only available to past GEEO travelers, and referrals are limited to new bookings made by current educators who have not traveled with GEEO before.
– Referrals must be identified at the time of registration; retroactive claims for referral discounts may not qualify.
– Each new traveler can only credit one referral source.
– Each new traveler can book any program; they are not required to travel on the same program as the referring participant.
– This promotion cannot be generated by a referral booking on a non-GEEO G Adventures trip, nor can this credit be used on a non-GEEO G Adventures trip.
– This promotion cannot be applied to private programs organized for specific organizations or schools, or bookings made by individuals receiving a free trip from GEEO.
– This promotion can be combined with the Multi-Trip Discount and Early Booking Discount.
Our promotions do not apply to our private programs that we run with other organizations and schools unless otherwise already negotiated.
We reserve the right to alter, modify or cancel any discount at any time, but persons who qualified for a discount at the time of booking shall still be entitled to receive the discount.
