Karst Landscapes and the Mekong River

Contributor :

Nicole Seibert

Action Plan

I teach earth science so I plan on focusing on the karst formations found in Southeast Asia. These are great examples of limestone weathering. I will include images of these in my lessons. Also, I will focus on the Mekong River and its importance through history as well as today, as part of community viability. Students might then choose a river throughout the world and research its importance to a specific community/ civilization.
