I am an art teacher and my middle school classes will learn about Nang Yai, a form of shadow puppetry. They will research and create their own Nang Yai working in groups with their peers.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I will be researching and documenting examples of Nang Yai, creating a slide show, and watching videos to preview for students so that that I can show them actual examples of shadow puppet performances.
Preparation During Travel
I will be arriving in Bangkok early before the trip and will locate and document examples to bring back for students.
