Green Energy in Iceland

Contributor :

Lexa Speth

Action Plan

I need to be prepared to ask questions to the citizens of Iceland about green policies when opportunities arise and to find opportunities to view and visit any green energy operations while traveling.

Pre-Departure Preparation

As a social studies teacher, I plan on comparing Iceland's energy efforts to reduce or capture green house emissions and compare them with the policies in the United States during the policy development section of my civics course.

Preparation During Travel

I will be reviewing what energy efforts are currently in place in Iceland to be prepared to ask questions and learn about how Iceland has developed its policies. I also need to develop a list of questions to ask when I have the opportunity to have conversations with citizens of Iceland.
