I will make sure to document all the different art, art history, architecture, and interior design I see during the trip by taking photos, notes, and sketching. I will visit other art museums/galleries if I have free time during the trip and will talk to local artists about their art as well.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I am an elementary art teacher and would like to teach my students more about the art history, architecture, social studies/history, and art from the Balkan countries. I plan to design different art lessons based off the historical sites and places I visit. I will also show my students photos from the trip during my lesson presentations.
Preparation During Travel
I will research artists and art history from the countries I am visiting. I will also read about important historical events from the countries I visit.
