Animals of the Galapagos

Contributor :

Marissa Kovner

Action Plan

I will take photos, collect written information, and purchase objects to supplement the unit.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I teach many students on the Autism spectrum that are highly interested in animals. Using photos and other artifacts brought back from the Galapagos Islands, I will create a unit about the species found on the Galapagos, the influence and work of Darwin, and the impact of the scientific discoveries made on the islands.

Preparation During Travel

I will research the most well-known species found on the Galapagos Islands.
