Photograph, draw and write about agricultural terraces, ties between ancient and modern agricultural practices, the Inca Road and the archaeological sites seen along the way. In addition, I will investigate images and materials used by indigenous weavers during our travels. If possible, I would like to collect some handspun yarn and small weaving samples.
Pre-Departure Preparation
Preparation During Travel
I am currently doing some historic reading about Incan culture and history. I am also attending a 5 day Spanish Institute to help prepare for communication and conversation during the tour. In addition, I have created a blog that I will use to record and reflect gore, during and after the Peru trip with GEEO.
