Tibetan Buddhism

Contributor :

Amy Liberatore

Action Plan

Take notations, video, and photos as related to lectures and tours. Exchange ideas with fellow teachers and discuss lesson ideas.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I would like to integrate lessons about Tibetan Buddhism into my world religions elective course. Additionally, I would like to add lessons on the history of Tibet and Nepal and current issues related to Tibet and China into my AP World course.

Preparation During Travel

Continue reading as much about Tibet and Nepal as possible. Keep a list of topics or questions I may want to develop into lessons. Review curriculum frameworks to refresh potential connections between study tour experiences and ideas for lessons.
