Action Plan

I keep a journal during trips and will jot down examples that I can bring back to the classroom.

Pre-Departure Preparation

For the past two years, I have been teaching Business & Finance. I use many examples from my travels of practical uses of math, such as currency exchange, budgeting, preparing a travel plan, prioritizing between needs and wants.

Preparation During Travel

I always like to read about the history of the regions we are visiting before the trip. I also like to do comparisons of costs, currency, and projected budgets.
