Action Plan

I will take photos of various tessellations and show them to my students when I return.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I am a Middle School math teacher, and I will use tessellations which are very common in the Arab Culture. I will take photos of various tessellations to show what they are, then I will have my students create their own tessellation design. Tessellations are patterns of small squares or blocks, as floors or pavements; form or arrange in a checkered or mosaic pattern.

Preparation During Travel

I will look for possible locations of tessellation in Casablanca prior to my departure.
