Visit a tea plantation. Take pictures. Talk to local people about their views on the past and present.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I plan on learning about the Sri Lankan diverse religious background, its civil war, and subsequent peace. In addition, I am interested in learning more about the Indian Ocean trade from Europe to the Middle East to South and Southeast Asia, especially the tea trade.
