Collect money, photos, and possibly video clips of locals to share with my students.
As a math teacher, I will incorporate my travel to the Balkans in my lessons through ratios and proportions. The students will be completing a project on travel, researching countries, converting money amounts into local currency, and seeking out the best souvenir gifts to bring home from their "travels". My example project will include information from the countries I am visiting this summer.
I will research popular souvenirs from each country as well as their currency and conversion rates.
