I plan on taking a lot of pictures and videos from the trip. Also, I’d like to look for artifacts that I can bring back for my students!
Pre-Departure Preparation
I teach fifth grade and I am so excited to bring back my experience from Machu Picchu! I am really interested in learning about ancient cultures and ruins from around the world so bringing back Machu Picchu to my students will be a lot of fun. Students will listen to and read books about it and also complete a research project. I also enjoy teaching students about different countries and cultures from around the world so I’d like for them to research Peru as well.
Preparation During Travel
I will read through my Peru travel book and find children’s books online to help teach my students next school year.
