Living in an Arid Climate and Refugee Crisis Dynamics

Action Plan
Hopefully, I will be able to talk to locals to gain this information, as well as take plenty of pictures of my trip.
Pre-Departure Preparation
As a geography teacher, I would like to enhance my curriculum by teaching more about the struggle and/or adaptation to living in an arid region with limited freshwater sources. In addition, I would like to identify how the country is dealing with the Syrian refugee crisis. I plan on creating a PowerPoint presentation to present to my students.
Preparation During Travel
I will need to do some research and reading into these issues before my trip.
