I will take pictures of all of these items, as well as keep myself open to interesting cultural experiences that will be interesting to bring back to my classroom.
I plan to use my experiences in Egypt to enhance the mystery reading unit in my class. There are two texts that take place in Egypt, The Mystery of King Karfu by Doug Cushman, and Agatha Girl of Mystery: The Curse of the Pharaoh. I intend to take pictures of the items and cities mentioned in these book to present as text to world connections.
I will compile a list of items and cities mentioned throughout the texts.
