I will interview teachers, people who interact with children and children, as I am able. I will also take photos of places and things that will help answer my students’ questions.
My teaching team strives to incorporate understanding and appreciation for others beliefs and cultures. I hope to be able to share with my students a better understanding of what a child's life might be like in Italy (favorite tv shows, folktales, what schools are like, how students might travel...). I plan to incorporate this information into units we already teach about how our community (local, national and global) is effected by and enriched thanks to our similarities and differences.
I will have my current students help me come up with questions that they have about life in Italy.
