I’m getting to Armenia a few days before the trip so I can visit some of the key sites and learn as much as possible.
I'm going to do some work on the Armenian genocide with our sophomore world history class, during which all students create a memorial and write a paper on a genocide that occurred in the 20th century. I will also use it in our social justice classes when we discuss the Pyramid of Hate.
Researching the genocide a bit more and more about the region in general.
