Incorporate culture of Uruguay and Argentina into the curriculum; use money to talk about the exchange rate, let students do a market activity using the money as part of the activity. Current event Friday: Have students bring in an article from either Argentina or Uruguay and share with the class about what is happening.
Research the current exchange rates of the monies as well as see what typical items are sold in each country.
Get samples of money from the various countries, photograph/record types of products found in those countries specific to that country.
