Collect water labels. Collect photos. Collect information about Nikola Tesla.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I share a different poster every week titled “Where DO Science teachers GO in the Summer?” My goal is to increase the number of chemistry and physics teachers — areas where there continues to be shortages of the very people needed to prepare future engineers, nurses, pharmacists, etc. — by allowing them to see the very opportunity GEEO provides. I also collect water labels to use in teaching chemistry lessons about ions, molarity and stoichiometry. I intend to use my visit to the Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Serbia, when introducing electricity to physics students.
