I will take photos of historical sites and gather as much information as possible on the stories of WWII through visiting museums and other key places.
Pre-Departure Preparation
As part of a 6th grade language arts unit on facing challenges, students will go on a virtual trip, using Google Maps, to explore how individuals faced challenges and persevered through WWII. During my trip, I will learn about these struggles by visiting historical sites and museums. The information I gather, which will include primary sources and photographs, will be inputted into Google Maps for students to explore stories of perseverance and determination.
