I will be talking with local people constantly to discover connections with words we use. I will take pictures of signs and other evidence of language use.
A major focus of my language arts class is the etymology of words. I am excited to be in Greece with its history of language. I hope to study words and relationships among words as we travel. Although the alphabet will look different, I hope to discover connections to words we use and bring that back to my classroom.
