I will take pictures of my cultural experiences along the trip. I will also ask my guide to share traditional stories, and if possible, collect books of traditional stories.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I want to bring the culture of Myanmar into my literacy instruction with my students. I will collect traditional stories from Myanmar to share with my students. Then I will have older students create books set in Myanmar using photos from my trip as the illustrations. They will read their completed stories to younger students.
Preparation During Travel
I will research the cultures of Myanmar as well as learn more about traditional stories from the country.
