I will take lots of photos and notes about everything I see. I will also ask locals and guides about the biodiversity in Madagascar.
I am a high school science teacher and I teach a unit on Biodiversity. I have always wanted to travel to Madagascar because it is one of the biodiversity hotspots that my students research. I will now be able to show my students specific examples of what constitutes a biodiversity hotspot and why Madagascar is so ecologically unique.
I will have my students research the uniqueness of the Madagascar Biodiversity hotspot. I will read journal articles and travel books about the unique ecosystems of Madagascar.
