Global Warming in Alaska

Contributor :

Karen Goff

Action Plan

Take pictures of glaciers and take notes on the information I learn about the changes that have occurred to them.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I want to make a presentation, possibly on Adobe Spark, that makes global warming accessible to Kindergartners. Each of the nine Kindergarten classrooms in my school could view the presentation on Earth Day. Pictures of glaciers and information I learn on this trip will be used to explain to the students:
1. Why global warming is occuring.
2. What effects global warming has on the earth’s plants and animals.
3. Why global warming affects the students themselves.
4. What Kindergartners can do to stop global warming.
