Action Plan

My goal is to take pictures and interact with locals to see how they provide for themselves on a day-to-day basis.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I would like to have my students research and compare economic development with special focus on Nepal and Tibet. I especially would like to focus on geographic challenges with these countries. This is something that I will share with colleagues teaching AP Human Geography.

Preparation During Travel

I am looking at articles related to China’s role in the Tibetan economy and will expand that research to Nepal.
