I will look for other ways to relate mathematics to what I am seeing in Myanmar.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I teach accelerated geometry to 8th graders. I will have the students analyze/summarize data related to Myanmar by giving them several profiles of the country. I would like to have them compare this data to the United States. It would also be nice to somehow include the Myanmar November 2015 election process and result.
Preparation During Travel
I have researched Myanmar’s data, country profile, education, and election.
