I will visit many museums that showcase the history of the country and will also ask locals to share any memories they may have of what it was like growing up in the country when they were younger to compare with the present day.
I am a World History teacher and would like to use the Costa Trip as a tool when discussing Central America. I will use photographs from the trip in a PowerPoint presentation to compare conditions in Costa Rica now versus what Central American governments were like 100 years ago and how their relationship with the United States changed over the years.
I will prepare by studying the history of Costa Rica.
