I will take pictures of the variety of homes, buildings that I travel to. I will seek permission from families to request pictures of the inside of their homes that show the students how families live. I will take notes as to the materials used.
Pre-Departure Preparation
I will incorporate into my curriculum to include how homes in the areas I visit are similar and different from their homes, in materials used for construction. Students will learn how the elements of the land/nature dictate the style of buildings constructed.
Preparation During Travel
Research the different regions I will visit to provide myself with background knowledge.
