Pre-Departure Preparation
I am a comparative government teacher and one of the themes we study is war and conflict resolution. I would like to develop a case study about the crisis in the 1990s following the breakup of Yugoslavia. Students will analyze the historical, ethnic, and religious factors contributing to the wars.

I will research the political history and culture of the region.
