Action Plan

I must make sure to focus in on the tours and other opportunities that focus on these events. I should collect photographs and other sources relevant to these events.

Pre-Departure Preparation

I plan on using my experiences in the Balkans to study the ways people remember and address the genocide that took place in the 1990s. I will use the to augment my Holocaust unit’s focus on the memorialization of such tragedies and to collect information on how people speak about such an event when it occurred within their lifetime.

Preparation During Travel

I will study history books about the region.
