I will be visiting the Taj Mahal at some point during the trip. While there I will gather additional resources and take photos of specific elements I will be covering such as, symmetrical balance, calligraphy, columns, etc.
I teach high school Visual Art and AP Art History. I would like to teach a lesson plan based on the Taj Mahal. I plan to address certain themes including.. *Power and Wealth *Sacred Space *Space Reflecting Values and Beliefs In addition I plan to cover visual elements of the structure such as architectural elements and aesthetic qualities.
I will research the history of the Taj Mahal along with the architectural elements, and aesthetics connected to it.
