Pre-Departure Preparation

I am a Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts teacher at the middle level. I am interested in plastics – their destructions of the global environment, their role in providing economic resources for communities throughout the world, and how this directly/indirectly impacts my students. I am still devising an action plan for implementing Zabaleen history and their important role in Egypt’s economy.

Preparation During Travel

Research Zabbaleen history, Zabaleen Trust, and plan a visit the community while in Cairo.
