I will research and photograph ( if possible ) any religious deities in graphic art or sculpture during the the trip and create a powerpoint with information about their attributes and symbolic appearances.
I will take notes on information that our guides present to us and also how these beliefs may have affected their own experiences.
I will purchase some small examples.
I will have have students research a few Hindu deities and the role they play in values as part of Indian culture. Students will present the deity of their choice to other students practicing vocabulary and presentational skills. Students will then create and draw their own deity with it's own attributes and personality and write a short essay outlining its imaginary personal role and power for its creator.
I will research and study some of the deities and note how they reflect customs and beliefs of the Indian society
