The photos will include major cultural sites, wildlife and everyday scenes so students will be able to experience a ‘virtual’ trip.
I teach world geography each year and like to use google mapsengine with students to design their own maps. I plan on teaching a unit with a colleague from Indonesia exploring this area of the world. I will use photos from the trip to facilitate students' using map coordinates to learn about Indonesia.
I've already made a sort of travelogue on Prezi highlighting the itinerary, so I can anticipate what we'll be seeing along the trip.
