I will need to take pictures that I feel will be enlightening for my students. I will need to see if there are English-speaking individuals who could help me with the questions listed above.
I teach Islam in World Literature and have been trying for nearly three years to demystify and generally illuminate this religion for students. I would like to take pictures to which my students will answer questions like "What do you notice?" "What surprises you?" "What do you find interesting about this picture?" If possible, I would like to have a few conversations with Muslims about how they feel the Muslim faith is perceived in the US and why.
Just a solid camera and a journal! Is my iphone (it's a new one) sufficient? I am thinking a regular camera is better?
