I will have pictures of me taken at the various sites we will visit, especially The Great Wall.
My students are very low- functioning, so most of their activities will include: word lists, tracing and coloring the flags of China, the national bird, cherry blossoms, and pandas. We will discuss pictures of The Great Wall.. Finally, I will order out and the students will enjoy a Chinese food lunch while attempting to use chopsticks. I have visual directions on the proper position of holding chopsticks.
Yes. I will build the students' excitement about my upcoming trip through class discussion and Internet photos.
