During my trip, I will pay special attention to the roles of children in their society and how they relate to adults. Moreover, I will speak with locals about how they view education and the role of teachers in their culture. I want to focus specifically on women and girls and also how males may relate to female educators and/or professionals. This also extends to how Moroccan people view professional women in general, such as educators.
I am an Instructional Coach and I want to provide my teachers with cultural insights into Arab and Muslim cultures so they can build better relationships with our students arriving from these countries.
I will research the languages and customs of Morocco that students from this country bring to our school.
