I will document my experience through film, images and journaling. I will use social media to share and use these as templates as a way to do a action-research participatory project with the students. I will fully take part in all projects and when possible, conduct short interviews and take portraits of people, places and objects to use as guides, models and in lessons.
I am a Humanities Teacher and College & Career Advisor to recent immigrant students. I plan to involve students in a discussion and writing project on cultural exchange, the value of sharing experiences, traditions, language and cultural words and we will make this a practice in my class.
